The types of classes that Dancebites offerStreet Dance
Street dance is an umbrella term, which encompasses a range of styles including funk, hip hop and break dance. A lively, energetic class, full of funk and flare. We’d best describe it as something you’d seen MTV.
Classical Ballet
Classical ballet is also called Romantic ballet and originated in 17th Century. Its uses fluid movements of the body to create and enable the dancer to move with gear agility, control, lightness and grace. Its great for strengthening and co-ordination.
Tap
Tap dance is characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes against the floor to create percussive sounds. It’s great for memory and coordination. Bringing to together a group of sounds to create a dance is very rewarding!

All of our staff are highly trained professionals and are fully CRB checked. Interested in having Dancebites within your school? Our classes can be tailor-made for your school. The clubs are fun, popular and a great way to start or end the school day! See below for class time examples.
Examples of club times:
Curricular Time: Incorporate dance into your school curriculum as a set of workshops or as a permanent, weekly fixture.
We run these clubs independently of the school, so we take charge of the advertising and registers etc- taking the pressure off of you! We would come in to your school to host an assembly- getting all the children involved- so they can get a feel for the club- we than hand out flyers to each child with information on how to sign up.
